Samsung Corby 2 Gt-s3850 Firmware Upgrade Tutorial

Disclaimer: This was personally tested by the suicune24. We will not be responsible if it didn't worked/damaged your phone. Try this at your own risk.. if your ready then lets proceed..


PROCEDURE:
1. DOWNLOAD SAMSUNG KIES FOR SAMSUNG DRIVERS...
2. DOWNLOAD MULTILOADER Ver. 5.65
3. DOWNLOAD LATEST FIRMWARE  

4. INSTALL SAMSUNG KIES 





5. OPEN MULTILOADER THEN CHECK BRCM2133

6. CHECK FULL DOWNLOAD
7. EXTRACT THE FIRMWARE THEN PUT THE ECTRACTED FILES TO THE FF. DESIGNATED LOCATIONS..

Boot - BOOTFILES
Amss - apps_compressed.bin
Apps - leave it blank
Rsrc1 - Rsrc1_S3850_Open_Europe_Slav.rc1
Rsrc2 - Rsrc2_S3850(Mid).rc2
Factory FS - FactoryFs_S3850_Open_Europe_Slav.ffs
CSC - CSC_S3850_Open_Europe_Slav.csc
SHP APP - ShpApp.app
FOTA - leave it blank
Tune - leave it blank
ETC - leave it blank
PFS - leave it blank

8. REMOVE SIM AND MMC TO YOUR PHONE,TURN OFF THE PHONE
9. ENTER DOWNLOAD MODE(press volume down, lock button , call button ) THEN CONNECT TO PC OR LAPTOP NYO..
10. CLICK PORT SEARCH(be sure na nakainstall ang samsung kies para madetect ang phone nyo...yun ang function ng kies jan..)
11. CLICK DOWNLOAD..
12. W8 UNTIL THE LOADING PROCESS FINISH..THEN UNPLUG YOUR PHONE...DONT FORGET TO RESTART YOUR PHONE WHEN DONE..

CONGRATS SA BAGONG FIRMWARE NYO..

Mas ok pag windows 7 OS pra automatic na magssearch ng driver para sa Corby II..kapag ayaw mgflash, reinstall nyo ung sa kies na driver tpos close nyo ung kies then connect corby 2 na nkdownload mode pra mgtry uli mgdetect ng compatible driver then restart pc tpos flash uli..sana makatulong sa mga hrap n hrap mgflash..

    meron syang qwerty russian ang language nila so yung phone naka european firmware S3850XEKC5 galing ba firmware mo sa samfirmware?
    diko maintindihan kahit naginstall kana ng european firmware eh wala pading qwerty what do you think kuya sa touch wiz 3.0 os na mismo?

    Mabagal ba talaga kumunekta sa kies pag naka download mode? 30 mins na kasi eh, wala padin.

    Ung port error sa PC un. kailangan meron kang PORT(COM&LPT) tapos dapat dun nakalagay ung samsung mobile. Pwede mo right click .properties then click Port settings. then Advance. tapos palitan mo ung port number.

    i have a samsung corby s3653.when i try to flash it by multiloader than it will show "serial port detect error".
    i also try diffrent ports and pc stdio but nothing is helpful .
    u have some solution for me ???
