How to Update Your Firmware (Samsung Corby GT-S3653W)

If you are experiencing LAG and unresponsive screen just follow this instructions:

*Things you should do first.
1. Remove the Sim card and Memory card.
2. Your unit should have fully charge battery.

*Procedure in updating the phone.
1. Turn- on your S3653 W
2. Touch the keypad
3. Enter *#2665#
4. touch the 1
5. Wait for few minutes
6. Done.

Note: This procedure is for S3653W only.

    Hi! Learned a lot from your blog regarding our corby wifi. I did this firmware update and now reads as S3653WDXJG2. Is this the updated firmware? I didn't really remember if this was also the original version when I got the unit from Sun recently. Tnx again.

    tnx for the info. i just got this phone and i'm always having problems on the keys. like when i press 6, the space is being pressed instead. since i tried this update i'm not having problems anymore. i almost gave up on this phone. i really owe you one... hope you can help more people with this. tnx again! =)

    The phone said the update was successful, and the screen does seem way more responsive so far, but how does it update the firmware with no wifi connection or SIM installed? How does it get the new firmware?

    bumilis ung performance ng s3653 non-wifi ko.. una medyo mabagal talaga pero ung ginawa ko firmware update, bumilis talaga siya.. wala ng tanggal tanggal diretso update na..hehe.. working talaga! ung dating mahirap ipress ngaun madali na ipress, bumilis pa ung performance..tnx tnx talaga!

    nalagyan ko ng firmware na samsung corby yung samung corby wifi ko and then after installing the firmware nawala yung wifi and hindi n gumagana yung bluetooth ng phone ko, could anyone help me where to find an original firmware for corby wifi?(GT-S3653W)..plss badly needed..

    succesfully updated my firmware.... hahahah... parang android na ung s3653w ko. wew.... nawala nga lng ung wifi and buetooth... but its ok nmn,,,,... bumilis na ung phone ko.... hnks to symbianize corby thread.... ...

    wala na bluetooth and wifi? bugok sana bumili ka na lang ng corby na hindi wifi sinayang mo yung features ng phone para lang magmukhang android yang wala na ngang kwenta na phone mas lalo mo pang ginawang walang kwenta

    Hello Guys i found something interesting about this '*#2665#'!
    type the code & press back button(triangle button). you will find an error msg. never mind that one. Press again the back button. you will get an interesting menu!check it out in your own risk.I think master menu!there are many interesting functions in that menu!
